the moon over 28 days

Moon over 28 days
My friend Paul sent me this cool time lapse image of the moon over it's 28 day cycle.

Update: This post has been Revised, because a brave "Anonymous" commenter scolded me for linking directly to the Wikipedia server. Thanks for your polite language, Mr. Anonymous.

Nice work leeching images from Wikipedia. They have to run yearly fund raising to stay alive, and stealing bandwidth is hardly helping.

Anyone know if the lunar landing vehicles NASA have left on the moon are visible from earth? If so, you know where I might find pictures?

Assuming that they did not land on the dark side of the moon...

u4rag: you can't - they're just too small. Even the Hubble telescope doesn't have the resolving power to spot them from Earth.

That's great. I love the moon.

I was not aware the same side was always facing us though, wonder what the other looks like.

You're a fucking shithead. Just host the goddamned file and don't leach from wikipedia.

Hey anonymous,
Don't call him a shithead, he never claimed he made the time-lapse. He's leeching cause that's where the belongs.

We never landed on the moon. We never could do that. We just had to tell people we did. You really think we took rovers up there when we can;t even get there now? In the 60's?
Come on.

The 28th day is the same as the first day. This the moon takes 28 days to rotate around the Earth.

Cool movie.

I personally don't understand why it is some major fucking crime to link to Wikipedia. I mean, like, they publish shit on the web! Do you know what the word "publish" means? Any rational entity would prefer people link to them rather than steal the stuff to your own server. Anonymous pussies should STFU, IMHO.

Amen Michael. Any of the AnonP* Michael refers to has a server that he/she/it can dedicate for a seemingly noble cause ? Guess not - suddenly even for the A*P* wikipedia seems like a better option.

Talk to any of the men that landed on the moon before ignorantly assuming we never went there. They know more about the moon than anyone on the planet. And you think the 60s weren't that impressive? We've gotten dumber with the advent of computers - relying too much on computers to provide the ingenuity that they can't possibly provide...

That's actually because Hubble doesn't have the right focal point. It's not made to see near Earth objects.

And of course we went to the moon. Any of you conspiracy theory lunatics who doen't belive that are just plain idiots. Look at the data. Numbers don't lie. But, who am I kidding? You're not gonna do that. You're gonna keep making uneducated assumptions just like you do for every other subject.

am I too old? are they saying it's great or not. are they "lol" at me, or the information? ("btw" i don't really care... if you can't leave your name, then why should i care).

Why is it too hard to use complete words anyway? 4 instead of "for"? you are using a keyboard, right?
